Combining the best of both the capricious play of childhood and riot-grrrl roller derby, the Toronto-based Pillow Fight Leaguers invade Brooklyn tonight for their first US match. Fourteen ruthless ladies with pseudonyms like Betty Clock'er, Champain, and Sally Spitfire take to the ring for five-minute bouts of vicious leg drops, punches, and submission holds (but no hair-pulling!) — all executed via their trusty PFL regulation-issue pillows. Tonight, the tenacious fighters battle for the championship belt, but clearly, the audience is the biggest winner. (LT)
